Paulo Costanzo, who plays HankMed CEO Evan R. Lawson on Royal Pains, will make his directing debut on an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Costanzo, 33, is set to helm the eleventh episode of Season 4, which finds HankMed treating a world famous female singer whose wild-child public persona is a far cry from her sweet and unassuming personality. "He's been interested in directing since Season 1," executive producer Michael Rauch tells TVGuide.com. "This felt like the right time for him and for the show."

Costanzo is following in the footsteps of his co-star Mark Feuerstein, who stepped behind the camera for the first last season and will do so again later this year.
