The View is losing another Rosie: this time it's Rosie Perez (and this time, it's for real).
Thursday, Aug. 6 will be Perez's last day at the hot topics table, Deadline reports. She is expected to address her exit from the show on tomorrow'sbroadcast.
"Our friend Rosie Perez has decided to leave the show to pursue full time her love for acting," Bill Wolff, the show's executive producer, told staff Tuesdayafternoon in an e-mail.
Perez was first said to be leaving the show back in January when Variety reported that ABC was planning to let Perez go following her pre-planned break to appear in Larry David's play Fish in the Dark. ABC quickly shot down the report.

There is no word on the status of co-host Nicolle Wallace, who has also been rumored to be leaving the show after this season. Raven Symone, the latest addition to the show, and Whoopi Goldberg are definitely returning next season. The View has struggled to find the right group of panelists since Barbara Walters' retirement and has been relying heavily on revolving guest co-hosts and contributors.
