Battlestar Galactica executive producer Ron Moore may be returning to Syfy.
The network is nearing a deal to give a 13-episode straight-to-series order of Moore's Helix, Deadline.com reports.

Helix would follow a team of scientists tasked with protecting the world from annihilation after a possible disease outbreak occurs in an Arctic research facility.
The project, which could premiere later this year, was written by Cameron Porsandeh, who will co-executive-produce alongside Moore and Lynda Obst.
