Robin Roberts will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2013 ESPYS, ESPN announced Tuesday.

The Good Morning America co-anchor is being honored for her inspirational fight against breast cancer and a rare blood disorder, both of which she's battled in the past five years. Roberts was one of the first female sports anchors on ESPN in the '90s before being named co-anchor of GMA in 2005. She returned to GMA last month after taking medical leave to undergo a bone marrow transplant for the blood disorder last summer.
