Monday's episode of Revolution will claim the show's first victim.
The latest promo for NBC's new drama dropped the news that one member of our motley crew won't make it out of the episode alive. "Obviously, it's not Charlie [Tracy Spiridakos]," executive producer David Rambo tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. And although there are some clues as to who may be taking a dirt nap, Rambo believes the death will have a significant impact. "In every single cut of this episode that we've watched, there wasn't a dry eye here," Rambo says. "It's a really emotional episode. Tracy's performance is amazing. She really moved us all."
The Man that Started It All: Don't expect to Jeremy (Mark Pellegrino) to be gone for too long. "We have not seen the last of Jeremy," Rambo promised.Movin' On Up: Capt. Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) is getting a promotion! The militia leader is moving up to major soon (most likely through dastardly channels, right?). And viewers are going to be seeing much more of Neville in Episode 5 when he takes off his shirt and boxes!
Revolution Burning Questions: Rachel's fate revealed
Love Is In the Air: Prepare to meet not one, but two lovely ladies in the upcoming episodes. Not only will we be meeting Neville's wife Julia (Kim Raver), but we'll also be meeting Aaron's (Zak Orth) wife Priscilla (Maureen Sebastian). Rambo wouldn't confirm whether or not we'd be seeing Priscilla in the present or past. Do you think she's dead or did she just pull a Rachel?
Was Miles Almost a Father? Nora's unexpected reasoning for joining the rebels (miscarrying her first child) sparked a lot of questions as to whether or not the father was her deceased boyfriend or Miles. But according to Rambo, the notion of Sourpuss Matheson being the baby daddy has never been discussed.
Revolution's Elizabeth Mitchell and Giancarlo Esposito share their theories on the blackout
Burning Question Answered! After the pilot, we had a few questions about life in the post-electricity world, especially as it related to modern-day fashions. Rambo points out that it's still the 21st century. "We have to be sure that even though a lot of old fashioned techniques and rituals would be adopted without the power that it doesn't look [like the 19th century],"he says. And in regards to where the survivors got their clothes: "The clothes are still Abercrombie that's been recut and re-sewn fifteen years later because it's really all you have," Rambo says.
Who Is Randall? Rambo couldn't help but squeal with glee at the mention of the mysterious character. Rambo promises we'll learn more about what happened with him and Grace -- in due time. "It's the cruelty of dropping these breadcrumbs," Rambo says. "Randall is very much a part of the story. Very much. He's a part of the story that was and part of the story to come." Rambo also confirms that those with the shared pendants (which include Randall, Grace, Ben and now Aaron) are all related in some way, thought they might have different motivations and histories. Rambo even says there may be more members introduced into the pendant posse soon. Perhaps even by Episode 5, during which viewers will learn a great deal more about the pendants.
Revolution Burning Questions: Secrets, bombs and Marvin Gaye
What's with all the Stephen King references? "I just think that comes up in the genre," Rambo says. "Stephen King is so pervasive, he's hard to avoid. But he's not the only one! We love pop culture references because in a way there's no new pop culture."
Revolution airs Mondays at 10/9c on NBC. Who do you think is going to die? What do you think the big bombshell is? Sound off in the comments below!
