Revolution Burning Questions: Monroe Meets His Match. Plus, What the Heck Is the Tower?

Revolution continued to add questions on top of questions this week, but I'm not complaining. "Ghosts" set up a lot of interesting changes to the NBC drama that will dramatically shift the series' tone away from the simple Miles vs. Monroe dichotomy. Read on for the nine biggest burning questions from Monday's episode. [Watch out, though: Spoilers ahead!]
Revolution: Can Jason be trusted?
God Bless America Miles (Billy Burke) officially joins the rebels, but with one condition: he brings on his own militia officers. Too bad Miles' old friend Jim isn't exactly keen to relive his past. But as always, Monroe's men show up at just the wrong time, forcing Jim to take up his sword once more. It's too bad for Jim, because his poor, unsuspecting wife isn't exactly thrilled when she discovers his secret life.
It's weird, though. I barely know this character, but I was so sad when I saw the way this war, which has barely begun, already tore his world apart. Can't anyone in this show just be happy?!
Who's really in charge? Even before he had (actual) power, Monroe (David Lyons) was always in complete control. That is, until Randall came waltzing driving in. Now for the first time, we've seen someone who can truly stand up to our favorite dictator — and it's absolutely fantastic! I am head over heels for Monroe (even if he is evil), but it's fun to see him thrown off balance. Randall joining forces with Monroe has really altered the power dynamic of the series. Where do you think the "alliance" will go from here?
Seriously, dudes? Governor Affleck, really? He's come a long way since his Giglidays. Calling him king of the "heathens" isn't exactly fair. Then again, thank you for at least implying some celebrities survived the apocalypse. I've been wondering what happened to the Kardashians, Jolies, Lohans, etc. since the power went out. Cameos, please!
Rachel is a little too slap-happy Slapping Miles was one thing, but slapping Charlie? Totally uncalled for. Then again, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) has been held captive for how many years? Her social graces might be just a tad off. Yes, her daughter is spiraling out of control, but as a viewer, I'd take lying, unbalanced Charlie over the pouting ingénue we met in the pilot. So chill out, Rachel, and let's see where this goes!

Does Monroe know about Jason? Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) is Monroe's main man, yet he wasn't included on a major mission? Not buying it. As vulnerable as we know Monroe can be, we doubt he'd ever be understanding enough to give Neville time off to grieve. Plus, as he cuttingly reminding Tom, "I don't trust anyone." Do you think Monroe's just playing dumb?Best kill shot — EVER! Thank you, Tracy Spiridakos. When you whipped around that corner and stabbed the militia soldier in the chest with an arrow, you made me really love Charlie for the first time all season. That was... perfection. Seriously. I'm Team Charlie from here on out if that keeps up.Out with the old, in with the new Is any villain on this show actually evil? Everyone seems to think they're on the side of good — even if they're clinically insane (see: Neville)! The worst part is, I kind of get what Randall means. The world right now isn't all that. I obviously love it, but there are tons of terrible things which are only accelerated by our access to power. But you'd have to pry the Internet from my cold, dead hands, so just give back the power, Randall. It's not up to you to decide the kind of world we live in....and Charlie pouted again But at least this time, there was something worthy to pout over. It also gave Rachel her first real opportunity to play mother in what — 10 or so years? She's a natural, that one. Took to it like a fish to water, after only a few rough patches (like losing her only son, losing her husband and alienating herself from everyone she cares about.) The Mathesons definitely aren't going to be winning family of the year anytime soon, but it's nice to see them trying to work things out.Will somebody tell us what the Tower is? This isn't just Randall's post-blackout base. Whatever the Tower is played a serious role in how the blackout happened in the first place. Thankfully, Rachel seems primed to explain everything to Aaron (Zak Orth).
