Revolution Burning Questions: Who Didn't Wear a Condom?

Love stinks, part 1 Tired of waiting for Miles to surface on his own, Monroe hatches a scheme to bring his former bestie right to him: hold his ex-fiancé hostage! Sucks to have dated a Matheson, amiright? (Rachel, you know what I'm talking about!) Of course, Monroe isn't one to do anything halfway, so instead of just threatening Emma's life, he goes after their entire hometown. No one can ever say Monroe doesn't give 100%.

Family feud Man, Charlie is really killing it recently. When Miles came in for a little uncle-niece bonding, my new favorite bada-- basically told him to cut the crap unless he wanted to own up to swapping spit with her mom. And thank god she did, because we need some answers around here! Unfortunately, Miles isn't exactly one to open up about his feelings, so we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out what that's all about. But at least Charlie is starting to become the voice of the audience she was always meant to be.

Love stinks, part 2 First, Aaron abandoned Priscilla in the woods while she slept and then he ran around like a chicken with its head cut off when he saw her in the market. Smooth moves, dude! No shocker that Priscilla moved on, but that doesn't make her treatment of Aaron any less excusable. Pretending as though they didn't date, let alone that they were married?! Way harsh, Tai!

Of course, it turns out Priscilla's sad dismissal of Aaron wasn't simply crocodile tears. Her "husband" Steve (if that is his real name) was holding her at gun point, forcing her to cut off the conversation. Sensing something's amiss, Aaron goes after her only to have So-Called Steve tell him Priscilla is a fugitive wanted by the Monroe Republic.  Proving he isn't useless once again, Aaron rescues his wife and does the big tearful confession thing from every good rom-com. Priscilla forgives him, but also drops the bomb that she has a new family now, kids and all. Ouch, that's gotta hurt.

Can Monroe be saved? This episode was a nice reminder that Monroe still has feelings underneath that hard (and freakishly tan) exterior. He loves his hometown, he loves his family, he loves Emma, he even still loves Miles — too bad the more Monroe seems to care about something, the more he'll do to destroy it. Emma did her best attempt at making Monroe's heart grow three sizes (and even got a super sexy kiss out of it), but it was too late. The plan was already in motion and there was no turning back. Though, I still believe there's hope of him finding redemption later.

Where's the line? On second thought, as much as I love Monroe, using Emma as a human shield was pretty terrible. Props to Charlie for still wanting to shoot him (even if it meant Emma's death, as well). I know it might sound pretty terrible that I keep applauding Charlie for being murderous (especially when condemning Monroe in the same breath), but after her pouting this is a welcome change.

Always wear a condom This was probably the biggest twist Revolution has done probably since — well, ever! Monroe has a son? And with Miles' former fiancé?! For reals?!? In fact, it turns out Bass and Emma got down and dirty in the same room that Miles lay sleeping. Sheesh! No wonder those two have so many issues.

Too bad one of the rebels shot down Emma to get Monroe before he could find out where their love child was hiding. But just the knowledge that their son was out there seemed to make Monroe so happy that he didn't care about his possibly fatal gut wound. (Personally, I think he might want to rethink his priorities).

Trading places Though we've only known them as enemies,Neville and Miles started out as comrades, and it seems they'll be joining forces again! In the second big twist of the night, we find out that Neville's now working for the Georgia Federation and the President has decided to dispatch Monroe's former right-hand man to work with Miles on a new mission. For some reason, I doubt that'll go too well...
