Al Lewis, best known for his roles as The Munsters' Grandpa and Car 54, Where Are You?'s Leo Schnauzer, passed away on Friday night after years of failing health. He was 82. In addition to his acting endeavors, Lewis was a renowned basketball scout, restauranteur and sometime politico, having racked up more than 52,000 votes in his failed 1998 bid to unseat New York governor George Pataki. Lewis is survived by his wife, Karen, and by three sons and four grandchildren.
