The actor will guest-star on the Season 4 premiere of Fox's New Girl as the guy that Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and guest star Jessica Biel will fight each other over, E! News reports. Scott's character Ted is described as charming and nice and will attend the same wedding as the New Girl gang, prompting a cat fight between the two ladies as wedding season comes to a close.
The recently married 36-year-old got his big break on TBS' My Boys and went on to roles on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and The Big C. In addition to Veep, Scott also provides the voice for Turbo in Netflix's animated series Turbo FAST.
