In an attempt to rebrand itself, IFC is developing a new slate of comedic programming, highlighted by a real show from a fake-news organization and a sitcom from two Arrested Development alums.

IFC's new tagline: "Always on. Slightly off."

"It's a perspective and attitude we share with our audience, who crave the kinds of unconventional stories, characters, talent, execution, and above all, authenticity, we provide," Jennifer Caserta, executive vice president and general manager of IFC, said Tuesday in announcing the lineup.

Working together for the first time since their Arrested days, David Cross and Will Arnett will collaborate on The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, a comedy about the misadventures of the title character (Cross). He's a corporate nobody and pathological liar who finds himself running his company's London branch. Arnett will play his blowhard boss, who assigns Todd to launch a new — and terrible — energy drink. The series will premiere later this year.
