The Real Housewives of New Jersey The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Brace yourselves, Real Housewives fans, because the Jersey girls have arrived — and they aren't holding back on the drama.

After Bravo's highly-rated series preview aired back in April, many viewers are expecting The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Tuesday at 11 pm/ET) to be something out of The Sopranos. But housewife Caroline Manzo — the mama bear of the bunch — thinks it's all just talk.

"I think once the show airs, you'll see a marked difference in who we are and what the Sopranos portrayed. However, we are Italian Americans and there are going to be some real similarities," said Manzo. "We tell it like it is. We are about family. We're about having fun ... You know, Sopranos was great and I guess that's what's going to sell the show. But I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see the group of us, that we're moms, we're sisters, we're daughters, we're friends, and it's just, you know, we're housewives for real. We're the real deal."

And if the preview is any inclination, they're real tough cookies too.

Two of the lovely ladies, Danielle Staub and Jacqueline Laurita, stopped by to dish with about Jersey girl stereotypes, Danielle's 19 engagements, celebrity hook-ups and what the eff "bubbies" are.
