Ratings: New Episodes of the NCIS Tandem Come Back Strong

NCIS and its spin-off drew 19.1 million and 16.5 million viewers, respectively, whileWife pulled in 11.6 million. (With repeats last week, the two procedural each attracted audiences of 12.5 million, and the Julianna Margulies show 7.4 million.)
In prime-time's first hour Tuesday against NCIS, the first hour of NBC's The Biggest Loser: Couples drew more than 7.6 million viewers against reruns of No Ordinary Family on ABC (more than 5.3 million), Gleeon Fox (5.3 million)and the CW's One Tree Hill (621,000).
Against NCIS:LA, Loser saw its usual gain in its second hour (8.8 million), vs. reruns of Fox's Raising Hope(4.2 million) andTraffic Light(2.8 million) and the CW's Hellcats(718,000).
In prime time's last hour against Good Wife, a rerun of Parenthood managed nearly 3.1 million people.
A two-hour ABC special at 9/8c, Best in Film: The Greatest Movies of Our Time, averaged 7.1 million viewers — significantly better than the shows usually occupying the time slots, V and Detroit 1-8-7.
