Mad Men isn't exactly going out with a bang.
The first half of the AMC drama's seventh and final season drew 2.3 million viewers on Sunday, marking the show's smallest audience since its Season 2 bow in 2008 (2.06 million) and down more than 1 million from its Season 6 opener (3.4 million).

The episode was up against the MTV Movie Awards. Turn led into Mad Men with 1.9 million in its second week, down slightly from its series premiere (2.1 million).Game of Thrones' deadly Purple Wedding, which drew 6.3 million viewers, was down a smidge from last week's record-breaking 6.6 million.On broadcast, most shows were on par, with Resurrection hitting a series low with 7 million and a 2.0 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic. Cosmos (3.5 million, 1.2) also fell to a series low. CBS' lineup was delayed 11 minutes due to The Masters.
