After a two-month break, Glee returned to a series low Tuesday, but it helped Fox tie NBC for first in the demo.
The comedy drew 6.7 million viewers and a 2.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, dropping 10 percent to hit a new series low. Glee did boost New Girl's numbers, which rose 17 percent to 5.3 million viewers and a 2.7. Raising Hope (3.95 million, 1.9) was also up from last week when it led off the night at 8 o'clock.
Dancing's shocking elimination!
Altogether, Fox averaged a 2.5 in the demo to tie NBC, which had the highest-rated show of the night in The Voice (8.9 million, 3.5) and was up 9 percent from last week. On the other hand, Dancing with the Stars (13.02 million, 2.3) tumbled 18 percent to post its lowest-rated results show episode ever. Last Man Standing (6.72 million, 1.7) and Cougar Town (4.96 million, 1.5) both dropped slightly in their returns. Body of Proof's season finale was also down, grabbing 10.17 million viewers and a 1.9.CBS won the night as usual in viewership, but all three of its shows saw ratings lows. NCIS (17.3 million, 3.1) hit a season low, while NCIS: Los Angeles (12.8 million, 2.3) and Unforgettable (9.5 million, 1.8) slumped to all-time lows.8 p.m.
