Hayden Panettiere and Madeline Zima's same-sex lip-lock might have titillated fanboys, but the buzzed-about kiss did not draw in many new Heroes viewers.

The NBC superhero drama pulled in 5.6 million viewers, staying flat from last week and finishing fourth in the 8/7c timeslot behind Dancing with the Stars (16.1 million viewers), House (12.1 million viewers) and a How I Met Your Mother-Accidentally on Purpose combo (8.6 million and 7.8 million viewers, respectively).

CBS won the demo for the night, thanks mostly to big numbers from Two and a Half Men (13.8 million viewers) and The Big Bang Theory (12.8 million viewers). Dancing with the Stars' second hour improved to 16.8 million viewers to win the 9/8c hour in total viewers. Fox's Lie to Me was watched by 7.8 million viewers and Gossip Girlpulled in 2.5 million viewers for the CW.

At 10, CSI:Miami was the big winner with 12.9 million viewers. Castle was flat with just under 10 million viewers and The Jay Leno show was watched by 4.9 million viewers.
