Ratings: Criminal Minds, SVU, X Factor Rise; Modern Family Down

CBS topped Wednesday, led by a href="http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/criminal-minds/192244" target="_blank">Criminal Minds.
The drama drew 11.6 million viewers and a 2.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 17 percent from last week. Survivor: Blood vs. Water (9.8 million, 2.4) dropped a tenth and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (10.3 million, 1.9) rose a tenth.

Modern Family (10.6 million, 3.8) was the top-rated show of the night, but fell a tenth from its last new episode. The rest of ABC's lineup returned up.

25 unnecessary spin-offs

On NBC, Revolution (5.1 million, 1.4) was flat at its series low, whileLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit (6.1 million, 1.6) climbed a tenth. Fox's The X Factor (5.8 million, 1.7) was up two tenths, and The CW's Arrow (3 million, 1.1) and The Tomorrow People (1.7 million, 0.6) were up and flat, respectively.8 p.m.
