ABC may have finally found its Modern Family companion.
Black-ish premiered Wednesday to 10.8 million viewers and a 3.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, retaining nearly all of Modern Family's 10.9 million and 3.7.
The Middle (7.4 million, 2.1) kicked off ABC's night on par with its finale, while The Goldbergs (7 million, 2.3) was up almost a point from its finale, which followed Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Tuesdays. Nashville (5.6 million, 1.5) was up from its finale, but down half a point from last year's premiere.Survivor (9.7 million, 2.7) and the season finale of Big Brother (7 million, 2.6), both of which were up a tenth from their respective airings last fall.NBC's Women Crush Wednesdays saw The Mysteries of Laura (9.9 million, 1.5) drop five tenths from last week's special preview, while Law & Order: SVU (10.1 million, 2.1) andChicago P.D. (8.4 million, 1.9) were down six tenths and one tenth, respectively, from their previous premieres.Fox's Red Band Society (3.4 million, 1.0) fell three tenths.8 p.m.
