Ratings: Amazing Race Finale Ties Low

The Amazing Race's shocking finale Sunday did nothing to boosts its numbers.
Season 21's two-hour closer averaged 9.3 million viewers and a 2.6 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic to tie last season as the show's lowest-rated finale. Lead-out The Mentalist (7.9 million, 1.6) was down 11 percent.
NBC won the night with Sunday Night Football (18.9 million, 6.9).

Fox's The Simpsons (7.5 million, 3.4) was the top scripted program, buoyed by a football lead-in.
