Ratings: ACM Awards Surge; Mad Men Steady

CBS topped Sunday, thanks to the Academy of Country Music Awards, while Mad Men's Season 6 premiere returned steady.
The three-hour awards show averaged 15.4 million viewers and a 4.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 40 percent from last year's show.

Only two other shows aired new episodes: Celebrity Apprentice (4.5 million, 1.4), which hit a season low, and The Cleveland Show (3.4 million, 1.6), which grew three-tenths from its last fresh outing three weeks ago.On cable, Mad Men returned to 3.4 million viewers, just shy of the record 3.5 million who tuned in to last season's premiere. In the demo, the drama averaged 1.4 million viewers, also on par with last year's figures. In adults 25-to-54, Mad Men rose 30 percent to 1.3 million viewers.
