CNN commentator and Dancing With the Stars contender Nancy Grace abandoned acting after a disastrous kindergarten performance as a slave. "I stuck my head out of a tent and my only line was, 'I am my master's servant. What is your errand?'" she recalls. "I brought down the house — and not in a good way."
A few decades and a lot more confidence later, Nancy will play the host of a fictional magazine show on the May season finale of Fox's Raising Hope. "This is the first time I've ever gone to a set and acted," says Nancy, who is most looking forward to meeting Cloris Leachman.
Since she will be "playing a version of myself," should we worry that baby Hope may soon be in harm's way? "I don't think anything serious is going to happen to her," assures Nancy. "Baby Hope will survive. We're not going to be doing a 1-800-Where Is Baby Hope?"
