Question: What are the names of the three other actresses who co-starred with Queen Latifah in the 1990s black sitcom Living Single?
Televisionary: Not a problem. Characters played by Kim Coles (In Living Color), Kim Fields Freeman (The Facts of Life) and Erika Alexander (The Cosby Show) all roomed with Khadijah James (Latifah, née Dana Owens) in the Fox comedy, which ran from August 1993 to January 1998.
As fans remember, Latifah's Khadijah may have been single, but she certainly didn't spend much time alone. She was the editor of Flavor magazine and lived in a Brooklyn pad with her ditzy-but-happy cousin Synclaire (Coles), who also worked as her secretary. Max (Alexander), Khadijah's college roomie, was a sharp-witted divorce attorney who might as well have lived there, too, while Regine (Fields Freeman) was a lady who kept one eye on her men's bodies and the other on their wallets.
Other regulars included T.C. Carson as Kyle, Max's on-again, off-again, on-again love interest; John Henton as Overton Jones, the man who eventually married Synclaire; and Cress Williams as Scooter, who in the show's final episode ended Khadijah's single days. Oh, and since no magazine staff is complete without an office horndog (see Just Shoot Me's Finch), there was Russell (Shaun Baker), the Flavor staffer who lusted after Regine to no avail (she ended up with rich-guy Dexter by the time the series left the air).
