Question: Management wants to know if Carniv&#224le is coming back for a third season. — Jenni

Ausiello: That's odd, because I could have sworn Management drowned in his own blue blood a few weeks back. Well, I'll call your bluff and tell you what I know: Absolutely nothing. HBO isn't talking and exec producer Daniel Knauf has yet to return my calls. I hope no news is good news because after a slow start this season, this show has recently been at its haunting, creepy, compelling best as we head toward the inevitable Justin-Ben showdown. Combined with the &@!#ing brilliant Deadwood (a party, I'm embarrassed to admit, I came late to), HBO currently has bragging rights to the best two-hour block on television. (Yes, even better than Lost and Alias.)
