Question: Lauren Graham is always stellar on Gilmore Girls, but the past couple of weeks she has totally hit it out of the park! Smurfette
Ausiello: And that's putting it mildly. After watching last week's post-100th show, titled "Say Something," I immediately called my peeps over at WB and urged, begged, ordered them to send that episode to Emmy voters for nomination consideration. Turns out they were already three steps ahead of me on that. In fact, I'm told Peter Roth, president of Warner Bros. Television Production, felt the four-star episode was one of Ms. Graham's finest hours as well. I'd go so far as to say it was one of the show's finest hours. From Lorelai and Luke's heartbreaking black-and-white movie montage to Rory and Logan's swoonworthy dorm-room kiss to Paris' hysterical "Bite me!" tirade, I don't remember the last time one hour of TV stirred so many emotions in me. And if that makes me the biggest girlie-man to ever walk the face of the earth, then, well, I have just one thing to say to that: Fight on, USC! Beat the Bruins!
