Can we get in on this group hug?

Even if you've only had the Queer Eyereboot on Netflix described to you, you probably know that the show is a love fest designed to make its subjects and viewers feel the best about themselves. It's a beacon of positivity in dark times, and that couldn't be more essential right now. But how does the lifestyle revamp show pull that off? That would be power of The Fab 5: Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Karamo Brown. Not only are the hosts uniquely talented in bringing out the light in the show's "heroes," but their perfect chemistry make them some of the most watchable personalities on TV.

Don't take our word for it though. TV Guide sat down with all five hosts to talk about what makes each of them such an essential member of the team, and how they're trying to bring more light into the world. Each of them breaks down how Brown is able to get straight to the heart of every hero, how Berk breathes new life into each living space in less than a week, how France teaches the heroes to show their best selves before speaking a word, how Van Ness can make any person feel beautiful, and how Porowski brings emotional connection with every dish he helps to prepare.

For most makeover shows, the wow factor comes from seeing how much a person has transformed at the end without much thought about the people that helped get them there. But Queer Eye is no typical makeover show. Its unique, all-in approach, fostered by these five compassionate people is what makes the show so special. We care as much about their connection with the heroes as we do about the heroes themselves. This show wouldn't have the same impact without the Fab 5 guiding the way, and so it's only fitting to see that they love each other as much as we love them.
