NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER

The long-rumored sequel to 1987's Dirty Dancing is finally getting its groove on. Miramax and Artisan Entertainment have hired indie filmmaker Guy Ferland to direct the follow-up, titled Havana Nights. The film — which has yet to be cast — revolves around a 17-year old girl who moves with her family to Cuba and falls for a local dancer. No word if Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey will make cameos — possibly as the forbidden lovers' grandparents?
