Prison Break Offers Up Teasers on the Reboot -- and Michael's Escape

Prison Breakoffered up some details at a Comic-Con panel Sunday on how Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) will break out of the Middle Eastern prison where he's been held captive. TVLine first shared the trailer, above.

The nine episode reboot of the series, set to begin in 2017, begins with Scofield's brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) joining forces with Michael's wife Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) after they find evidence he's still alive. The two assemble the old gang, including T-Bag (Robert Knepper), C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) to aid in his return.

The season is said to have an Odyssey theme -- with Michael encountering villains akin to Cyclops and Poseidon -- and divided into halves. The first will be Lincoln's quest to get his brother out of prison; the second will focus on Michael's journey to get back to Sara and his son.

Prison Break will air Tuesdays on Fox beginning in spring.
