Prince Michael Jackson Hired as Special Correspondent for Entertainment Tonight

Prince Jackson

Prince Michael Jackson is taking a small step into the spotlight.

The eldest son of the late Michael Jackson will serve as a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight beginning Monday.

TV musicals: The highs and lows

Correspondent Brooke Anderson revealed the news on Twitter saying Jackson, 16, "rocks" and is "impressive." One of Jackson's first segments for the show will be interviews for the new film Oz the Great and Powerful — a small coincidence considering his father starred in 1978's The Wiz, an adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.

In the years since their father's sudden passing in June 2009, the Jackson children have slowly stepped in the limelight. His sister, Paris Jackson, has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Oprah's Next Chapter.
