It's a Boy! (And a Scramble for Saturday Night Live)

Amy Poehler's baby boy was not quite ready for prime-time either. Archie Arnett arrived on Saturday during the daylight hours, weighing 8 lbs, 1 oz.

Poehler and child "are all healthy and resting comfortably," their rep, Lewis Kay, tells TVGuide.com.

NBC's Saturday Night Live as a result had to hustle to rewrite portions of this weekend's show. In addition to coanchoring Weekend Update as usual with Seth Meyers, Poehler also was slated to revive the "Bronx Beat" sketch with SNL alumna Maya Rudolph (who is returning to her old stomping grounds this weekend primarily to play Michelle Obama). Instead, Seth Meyers helmed the Weekend Update desk solo, with Maya Rudolph and Keenan Thompson serenading Poehler at the end of the sketch with Frankie Valli's, "I love you baby..." lyrics tweaked to, "We love you Amy and we can't wait to meet your baby."

Another time filler may have been a rare third and fourth performance from mega-stars Coldplay.

Poehler has been married to Will Arnett, who made his comedic mark as Gob on Arrested Development and now plays Alec Baldwin's nemesis on 30 Rock, since 2003. Archie is their first child.
