Opus Dei, the conservative religious group portrayed as a murderous, power-hungry sect in the best-seller The Da Vinci Code, is asking that the upcoming Tom Hanks film feature a disclaimer as "a gesture of respect toward the figure of Jesus, to the history of the Church and to the religious beliefs of viewers."
