Jennie Garth is no longer My Best Friend's Girl, having dropped out of CBS' comedy pilot about a guy who starts dating his best bud's ex-wife. According to the Reporter, Garth parted ways with the prospective series following a Monday table read, in what is being described as a "mutual decision" between her and the producers. (Garth, the trade notes, has been mourning her father, who passed away after she was cast in Girl.)

It is also rumored that Garth is being wooed to join the CW's Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off, which ever since it was announced has been said to be wanting back an original cast member or two.

Replacing Garth as My Best Friend's Girl is Kristin Booth ( The Company). - MWM
