Pete Wentz: Ashlee Pregnancy Rumors Are "Crazy"

According to
Pete Wentz, those Ashlee Simpson pregnancy rumors ain't just a scene, they're an untrue news race. The
Fall Out Boy eyeliner maven is officially putting the kibosh on rumors that his new fiancée is expecting. The two
announced their engagement last week, and soon after, the baby rumor mill churned into action, with sites including
Us and OK! alleging that Ms. Simpson may be with child. (Ashlee's rep, meanwhile, did not confirm the rumors.)
In an e-mail to
MTV News, Wentz wrote, "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood." He continued, "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover ... I mean really, this is crazy ... [W]e're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
OK!, meanwhile, is sticking to its story, alleging that the happy couple's mini-rock star is due in October. Who do you believe? Was Wentz's refutation convincing? Is the media too quick to suggest star babies-on-the-way? Or is Ash really becoming a mom?
