A little bit of Hollywood is arriving in New York.

New parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are set to guest star on the city's own CSI: NY.

The pop stars will portray Bonnie and Clyde-like couple Chester Byron and Lia Wickfield, respectively, Peoplereports. Simpson-Wentz is set to start shooting (literally, and perhaps figuratively) on Friday, while her main squeeze hits the set next week. EW's Ausiello first broke the news.

Yet, the duo isn't the first celebrity sighting on CSI's New York turf. In recent months, the show has played host to Rumer Willis and Nelly, plus booked Craig T. Nelson for February arc.

After marrying last May, the Wentzes became parents to a son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, in November.

What's your take on the casting? Could this be signaling the next phase of their careers?
