You might think your eyes are deceiving you, but that's not the case: Penn Jillette really is 105 pounds lighter.
The illusionist went from 330 pounds to 225 - a difference of 10 pants sizes - after making a "drastic change" in his eating habits, he tells People.
Once his doctor told him that he could probably go off blood pressure medication if he got down to 230 pounds, Jillette says, he decided to take up the challenge. From December to March, he ate about 1,000 calories daily and lost an average of nearly 1 pound a day as a result, People reports.
He hit his goal weight on his 60th birthday, March 5, and has stuck to a modified diet (no animal products, no added sugar/salt) ever since. He also exercises every other day.
"I could probably have a steak or a doughnut every couple of weeks, but I just haven't felt like it," Jillette tells People. "When you're feeling as bad as I felt, and you go to feeling as good as I feel, the temptation to go back to doing what you were doing when you felt bad is not very great."
