Lifetime just won a Peabody Award.

The network, best known for its salacious, ripped-from-the-headlines movies, won a Peabody for UnREAL, the spot-on fictionalization of what goes into producing a reality show like The Bachelor.

The 11 honorees for entertainment and children's programs were revealed live on Friday's Today show.

Netflix was a major winner, earning awards for Marvel's Jessica Jones, Aziz Ansari's Master of None and the Idris Elba film Beasts of No Nation.

The ABC family sitcom black-ish was among the winners, as was the first season of USA's hit drama Mr. Robot.

Amazon's awards darling Transparent, PBS' period drama Wolf Hall, Sundance's German spy thriller Deutschland 83, HBO's existential drama The Leftovers and the British children's show Katie Morag also won.
