Paula Patton on Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus' Performance at VMAs

Paula Patton has finally gone on record about her husband Robin Thicke's raunchy performance with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Even though Cyrus twerked on Thicke and even kissed his neck, Patton says she wasn't surprised. "Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don't know how not to dance with someone having their booty in you... all my friends do it like that," Patton said during Tuesday's Watch What Happens: Live, according to US Weekly. "And I don't really know what the big deal is."

Patton admitted she was surprised by the harsh reaction fans and critics had to the performance. "I didn't know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song's about taking molly!"she said, referring to the nickname for a pure form of ecstasy.

On Wednesday morning, Patton then appeared on Today, and decided to demonstrate that dancing like that really isn't a big deal. To prove her point, she twerked with Al Roker. "Your wife's not going to get mad at you, is she?"
