Paul Wesley Will Get Beastly in Season 2 of Tell Me a Story

I bet you thought you'd seen the last of Paul Wesley on Tell Me a Storyafter Eddie' shocking demise in Season 1 -- but surprise, you're dead wrong. Wesley is again trading in his lush hero hair to play another deeply troubled character in Kevin Williamson's twisted fairy tale anthology.

Season 2 finds Wesley in the role of Tucker, a struggling novelist who "spends his sleepless nights toiling away in a secluded cabin in the woods, and his days trying to prove he's good enough for his beautiful fiancée." However, Tucker's world is about to come crashing down as a dark secret threatens to wreck everything.

While Season 1 took on "Little Red Riding Hood," "The Three Little Pigs," and "Hansel and Gretel," this upcoming installment will add a unique spin to a new set of fairy tale classics, including "Beauty and the Beast," "Sleeping Beauty," and "Cinderella."

Given Tucker's connection to books and the description of his romantic partner as "beautiful," all signs point to his story being a spin on the princess in the yellow ball gown. While we don't know much else about Season 2, like who will play the beauty to Wesley's probable beast, you can bet there won't be any singing silverware or elaborate dance sequences. Williamson's gritty series is grounded more in reality than in fantasy, leaving no room for the fantastical elements that made Disney's classic take on the story a favorite among kids.
