Paul Walker's Cause of Death Revealed

Paul Walker died from the effects of traumatic and thermal injuries, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said Wednesday. His friend Roger Rodas, who was driving the car they were in, died from multiple traumatic injuries suffered upon impact. The ruling means that Walker did not die from the impact of the car crash, but from burning in the car's explosion, according to TMZ. Burning was not listed as a factor in Rodas' death.

Proceeds from Fast & Furious 6 DVD and Blu-Ray Sales to Go to Paul Walker's Charity

Both deaths have been ruled as an accident. Toxicology results will be available in six to eight weeks.
Walker and Rodas died on Saturday in a fiery car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif., when the Porsche Carrera GT they were in collided into a tree and a light pole. The two were attending an event for Walker's charity, Reach Out Worldwide, which was raising money for those affected by the recent typhoon in the Philippines.

Roughly half of Fast & Furious 7 had finished shooting before Walker died. Production the film on has been put on hold indefinitely, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers," Universal said in a statement. "At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker."
