But he'll always be McDreamy!

Patrick Dempsey is officially moving on from Grey's Anatomy. Our dear McDreamy is currently in final talks to join Bridget Jones's Baby, Deadline reports.

We don't know anything about who he'll play, or much about the movie's plot, but the new sequel to Bridget Jones's Diarypicks up as the titular publishing exec steps into her 40s. Renee Zellweger will return as Bridget Jones, and Colin Firth will reprise his role as Mark Darcy.

Our best guess? Dempsey could be the next Hugh Grant-style love interest.

Relive Meredith and Derek's best moments on Grey's Anatomy

What we do know is that the movie is not based on Bridget Jones creator Helen Fielding's latest novel, Mad About The Boy, which finds Bridget with kids after Darcy's death.

Hit the comments with your hopes for the movie's story. Who do you want Patrick Dempsey to play?
