Parks and Recreation Scoop: Tammy 2 Returns!

She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

On Thursday's Parks and Recreation, Tammy 2 (Megan Mullally) returns for another round of chaos. It's as if her ears were ringing: As soon as her ex Ron (Nick Offerman) finds a stable relationship with Diane (Lucy Lawless), the "punkass book jockey" returns to ruin things. So, how will Xena Diane handle going up against one of the Tammys?

"If you're going to date Ron, you're going to have to, at some point, confront his horrifying ex-wives. Iit's a rite of passage for anyone who's interested in being Ron's girlfriend," executive producer Mike Schur tells TVGuide.com. "We get to see what kind of person Diane is and how she holds up and what the things that worry her about Ron are."

While Schur was shy to say what kind of hell Tammy 2 would put Ron and Diane through, he notes, "She has no agenda other than her normal agenda, which is to destroy Ron."

On the bright side, it seems Diane will hold her own, considering Schur says there's a chance Lawless will be sticking around. "Lucy lives in New Zealand so it's hard," he says. "We can't always get her every time we want her, but it's so awesome that she keeps coming back because she's really good and it's really fun to see Ron with someone. You just look at them and you think, yeah, that makes sense. He's dating Xena, Warrior Princess. That's about right. That's what we need for him."
