Paris Hilton's Home Targeted in "Swatting" Prank

Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the prank fad known as "swatting," in which a SWAT team is deployed to a celebrity's home as the result of a hoax phone call on the part of practical jokers.

A call came in to Los Angeles police early Saturday evening reporting that an intruder was in Hilton's home, according to TMZ. When cops arrived at the scene, they found that no one was home and concluded that the call was a prank, TMZ reports.

The incident is under investigation.

Other celebrities who have recently been victims of "swatting" include Ashton Kutcher, Chris Brown and the Kardashians.
