The man arrested outside of Paris Hilton's Los Angeles home has been charged with attempted burglary.

Nathan Lee Parada was charged with one felony count of attempted residential burglary with a person present Thursday, Los Angeles police told TVGuide.com. He is being held on $50,000 bail, according to his arrest report.

Parada was arrested Tuesday morning after Hilton reported an attempted break-in. The heiress also tweeted a photo of the arrest and said that Parada was carrying "two big knifes." Police did not say if Parada was armed.
