When Winfrey asked why Palin resigned as governor of Alaska, the former vice-presidential candidate quoted her father, saying, "She's not retreating; she's reloading." Reloading for what exactly?
"I'm concentrating on 2010 and making sure that we have issues tackled as Americans, to make sure that we're on the right road," Palin told Oprah.
When Winfrey pressed further, Palin acknowledged that she wasn't even thinking about running for president. "It's not on my radar screen right now," she said.
"Clearer and clearer every day, what I'm seeing is you don't need a title to make a difference. Any ordinary American can seize opportunities to let their voice be heard, to speak up on an issue or for a candidate that they believe in, and they can make a difference."
