The music star allegedly used a kettlebell against the coach
Sean P. Diddy Combs was arrested Monday by UCLA campus police after an altercation involving a kettlebell at the school's Acosta Athletic Training Complex, EW reports.
Diddy is being charged with one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon, though no one was seriously harmed.
"I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation," said UCLA football coach Jim Mora in a statement. "This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."
According to the report Diddy should be transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center tonight.

The music mogul's son Justin is a defensive back on the team, and TMZ reports that Combs targeted strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi after witnessing a workout session with his son yesterday, during which the coach was "riding Justin badly."
According to TMZ, Combs is adamant that he acted in self defense and was not the aggressor.
