Orlando Jones Reveals the Real Reason He Left Sleepy Hollow

It wasn't exactly voluntary

The erstwhile Capt. Frank Irving dished for the first time on why he isn't in the third season of Fox's Sleepy Hollow in a fan Q&A video posted to YouTube on Saturday.

Orlando Jones says that the creators took the show in a different direction and there just wasn't room for Captain Irving anymore. And while Jones is open to a guest appearance, fans shouldn't get their hopes up:

"Chances are, I won't be back, because they kinda asked me to leave," he says.

How Sleepy Hollow became great again

This is the first time Jones has spoken publicly about leaving the show since his departure was announced in May.
