On the heels of Aniston landing a
30 Rock guest gig, Winfrey is in final talks to appear on the show - and would appear in the second episode, says
E! Online.
If Winfrey inks the deal, she would likely be playing herself, primarily in scenes with Fey. She also might find herself caught in a feud between Tracy Jordan and Jenna.
Fey has long been hoping to collaborate with the mega-mogul. In March, she told the
New York Post she was pining for QT with Winfrey. "I want Oprah to play my best friend," Fey said. "I want to spend time with Oprah, and I don't know what I need to do to make that happen." -
