The third season of ABC's American Crime will look awfully familiar when it returns at midseason, at least when it comes to its actors. After starring in the first two season, Timothy Hutton will be back for the anthology's third season, TVGuide.com has learned.

Hutton will rejoin other returning cast members Felicity Huffman, Regina King and Richard Cabral, who all previously committed to the award-winning drama's next chapter.

Season 3 of American Crime -- which examines new societal and criminal issues in each season -- will be set in North Carolina and tackle labor and economic rights. Season 1 focused on racial profiling and the criminal system, and Season 2 looked at sexual assault.

American Crime will return at midseason on ABC.
