Once Upon a Time is finally en route back to Storybrooke!
The rag-tag group of heroes and villains was able to save Henry (Jared Gilmore), but unfortunately, it came with a great price. After Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) took Henry's heart, Regina (Lana Parrilla), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) set out to track him down. Waiting for the power of Henry's heart to fully take over, Pan hid himself at his thinking tree, which uses people's regrets to keep them trapped. Even though Regina has done some really awful things, she doesn't regret any of it because it led her to Henry. So, she breaks free of the tree's restraints and rips out Pan's new heart and steals Pandora's Box.
Back in the Storybrooke that was, Regina was feeling a big absence in her heart after the curse, so she turned to Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) to help her adopt a son. But when baby Henry wouldn't stop crying, she turned to Sidney (Giancarlo Esposito) to dig up the scoop on his birth mother. When she learns he's the child of a woman who was found outside of Storybrooke during the creation of the curse — aka Emma — Regina knows Gold has set her up so the curse will ultimately be broken. She tries to return Henry to the adoption agency, but she just can't go through with it. Interestingly enough, it was Michael (James Immekus) and John (Matt kane) who would've ended up with the baby for Peter Pan, but they were thwarted.
But present-day Pan ultimately ended up with more than he could even imagine. Sneaking onto the Jolly Roger to steal back Henry's heart, Pan is caught by Rumple, who sucks him into Pandora's Box. Unfortunately, at the last minute, Pan swaps bodies with Henry, effectively infiltrating the camp as Henry, while Emma and Regina's son is now trapped in Pan's body inside Pandora's Box. Yikes! Operation Save Henry continues!
