Lightning Round 6: Once Upon a Time bosses answer your burning questions

We grabbed your fan questions off Twitter and hit up Horowitz and Kitsis for a quick round of scoop — but this time, there's a twist! In addition to the producers being able to answer "Yes," "No" or "Can't Answer," our finale edition of Lightning Round enables them to also answer "Next Season." Some of their answers, and possible non-answers, are pretty telling, so check them out below:

We've seen why Regina (Lana Parrilla) wanted Henry (Jared Gilmore), but will we find out how she adopted him and why it was him in particular?
Edward Kitsis:
Next season.

Will we find out how Greg Mendell (Ethan Embry) and Tamara (Sonequa Martin-Green) met?
Kitsis:
Next—
Adam Horowitz: I'd say sort of. You get part of it.
Kitsis: Half now, half next year.

Will Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) magic come into play?
Horowitz:
Yes.

Will we see Kurt Flynn (John Pyper-Ferguson), Greg's father, again?
Horowitz and Kitsis:
Yup!

Henry's fate, Belle's future, a trip to Neverland and 10 other Once Upon a Time spoilers

Are there other magic people outside of Storybrooke, like how we saw with The Dragon (Tzi Ma)?
Horowitz:
That's a "can't say."

Will Emma confront Neal (Michael Raymond-James) about her feelings for him?
Horowitz and Kitsis:
Yes.

Will we ever learn how August (Eion Bailey) knew that Neal was Baelfire?
Horowitz and Kitsis: Next season.

Will the prophecy about Henry being Rumplestiltskin's (Robert Carlyle) undoing come into play?
Kitsis:
Yes.
Horowitz: Definitely.

With Meghan Ory getting a pilot on CBS, will Ruby's possible exit be explained?
Kitsis:
Ruby is not going anywhere. That pilot shoots in Vancouver.
Horowitz: We've overcome big scheduling hurdles in the past. We hope to be able to continue that.
Kitsis: It's a lot easier when they are in the same town.

Will Robin Hood (Tom Ellis) play a larger role in Season 3?
Kitsis:
Can't say.

Is Gaston (Sage Brocklebank) really dead?
Horowitz:
Well, we saw him turn into a flower.
Kitsis: Look, it depends whether or not Rumple left him in water when he left.

Once Upon a Time Postmortem: How can Snow White redeem herself?

Does Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) return signal the introduction of Neverland?
Kitsis:
No.

Does Rufio exist in your version of Neverland?
Kitsis:
You know what? At this point, everyone has asked us about Rufio. Our entire writers' room is pitching Rufio. I don't know whether or not that is property of Sony.
Horowitz: Whatever studio did it, I think Rufio is a proprietary character.
Kitsis: He lives in our hearts.
Horowitz: We love Rufio and we wish he could be a part of this show. In our minds, he exists in the show whether you see him or not.

In our first Lightning Round, you teased Tinker Bell was a possibility. Will we finally see her?
Kitsis:
Next season.

Will there be a nod to the potential Once spin-off about Wonderland?
Kitsis:
Nope.
Horowitz: That's its own thing. If it goes forward, that's its own thing. I mean, it's connected to the universe, but not in this season.
Kitsis: All those reports we'd be introducing that in this season, I don't know where they got that. It was all wrong.
Horowitz: There was a lot of misinformation. It's a pilot presentation that we're working on. If it goes forward, it will exist in the Once universe, but nothing about the spin-off is on the show this year.

Will we discover why, with the curse broken, certain characters didn't revert to their former-looking selves, like Mr. Gold having the scaly skin?
Kitsis:
Not this year.

Once Upon a Time's trip to the past, Regina's revenge and more scoop!

Will it ever be explained how Henry didn't realize no one was aging in Storybrooke?
Kitsis:
We actually explained that in Episode 2 of the very first season, which is that he was under the haze of the curse and it wasn't until he got the book and he grew up that he did notice. I would say that my 5-year-old has no idea what anyone's ages are, so Henry really didn't start to recognize it until he got much older and he was proven right. So a-ha, answered!

Will there be more death this season?
Horowitz:
Can't say.
