Olympics: What to Watch on Day 11 --- Lolo Jones, Ski Halfpipe Make Their Debuts

Day 11 of the Winter Olympics on Tuesday features hurdler-turned-bobsledder Lolo Jones and the inaugural ski halfpipe contest. Here's what you should watch (all times ET).
The 411 on the 12 new Winter Olympic events
All events are live-streamed at NBCOlympics.com. Tuesday's tape-delayed daytime coverage (3 p.m., NBC) includes speed skating and Nordic combined. Tape-delayed prime-time coverage (8 p.m., NBC) includes alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, short track and bobsled.
Bobsled, women's two-man

Lolo Jones will make her Winter Olympics debut as a brakeman on a sled piloted by Jazmine Fenlator, with whom she posted a top finish of seventh place in three races this season. Jones' fellow Summer Olympics track star Lauryn Williams will be the pusher on Elana Meyers' sled, making them the ninth and 10th Americans to compete in both versions of the Olympics. The two-day competition concludes Wednesday.

Freestyle skiing, men's halfpipe final
When: 12:30 p.m. (live); 8 p.m. on NBC (tape delay)
David Wise, aka The Undude, is more or less the Shaun White of this new event, having dominated the circuit the past year, including the world championships. He is also fresh off a Winter X Games three-peat. At the ripe old age of 23, he is the oldest skier on the U.S. men's ski halfpipe team, which includes 17-year-old Aaron Blunck, the 2012 Youth Olympics bronze medalist. Qualifications start at 8:45 a.m.
Alpine skiing, women's giant slalom
When: 12:30 a.m. (live); 8 p.m. on NBC (tape delay)
Is it finally Jessica Lindell-Vikarby's time? Though she's been to two Olympics and six world championships, the Swede has never medaled at either. Lindell-Vikarby is the current leader in the World Cup standings in the giant slalom following a victory and two second-place finishes. American teen Mikaela Shiffrin, a slalom specialist, has emerged as a GS medal threat after nabbing a silver and a bronze in two World Cups in December.
