Olympics: Did Meryl Davis and Charlie White Take Gold?

Meryl Davis and Charlie White became the first Americans to win an Olympic gold medal in ice dancing, defeating their Canadian rivals Monday with a routine Tara Lipinski called "pure perfection."

Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir took silver, while Russia's Elena Ilinykh and Nikita Katsalapov brought home the bronze.

White and Davis, who have been partners for 17 years, also won bronze in the new team figure skating event at the Sochi Games, as well as a silver medal in the Vancouver Olympics.

In other Day 10 results, the U.S. women's hockey team will face Canada in the final, after the Americans defeated Sweden 6-1 and the Canadians beat Switzerland 3-1 Monday.

Anton Kushnir of Belarus took gold in the men's aerial skiing finals, on the heels of his compatriot Alla Tsuper winning the women's gold on Friday. Australia's David Morris won silver and Jia Zongyang of China came in third.

The United States won its first two-man bobsledding medal since 1952, with Steven Holcomb and Steven Langton winning bronze. Russia's Alexander Zubkov and Alexey Voevoda took gold, while Switzerland's Beat Hefti and Alex Baumann took silver.

The snowboarding event that was supposed to take place on Monday was pushed to Tuesday due to fog.
